Entering its 19th year, the Youth Awards honor Latino high school seniors who excel in the classroom and community and for their focus in various categories including: Business & Entrepreneurship, Community Service, Education, Healthcare & Science, Media & Entertainment, Science, Technology, and Engineering, & Mathematics (STEM).  Three awards for each student category are given in each of the different regions across the country. Must be graduating from an accredited high school in the Spring of 2019.

Must have an un-weighted 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, Be of Hispanic Heritage.

 

 

Horatio Alger Scholarship

“Financial Genuis 2018 Scholarship Sweepstakes”

The AXA Achievement Scholarship offers college scholarships of $2,500, $10,000 and $25,000 to high school seniors who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their activities in school, the community or the workplace. Scholarship winners are known as AXA Achievers. They are ethnically and economically diverse, but they share these qualities: ambition an drive; determination to set and reach goals; respect for self, family and community; ability to succeed in college.

 

Burger King Scholars Program

Amount: $1,000 - $50,000

Applications may apply from public, private, vocational, technical, parochial and alternative high schools in the United States, and must be U.S. or Canadian residents. Students must also have a minimum 2.5 GPA, work part-time an average of 15 hours per week unless there are extenuating circumstances, participate in community service or other activities, demonstrate financial need and plan to enroll in an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school by the fall term of the graduating year.
