The AXA Achievement Scholarship offers college scholarships of $2,500, $10,000 and $25,000 to high school seniors who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their activities in school, the community or the workplace. Scholarship winners are known as AXA Achievers. They are ethnically and economically diverse, but they share these qualities: ambition an drive; determination to set and reach goals; respect for self, family and community; ability to succeed in college.

 

Burger King Scholars Program

Amount: $1,000 - $50,000

Deadline: December 15, 2018

Applications may apply from public, private, vocational, technical, parochial and alternative high schools in the United States, and must be U.S. or Canadian residents. Students must also have a minimum 2.5 GPA, work part-time an average of 15 hours per week unless there are extenuating circumstances, participate in community service or other activities, demonstrate financial need and plan to enroll in an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school by the fall term of the graduating year. Applicants do NOT need to work at Burger King, but Burger King employees are eligible.

 

 

$1,000 Gen and Kelly Tanabe Scholarship

Amount: $1,000

Open to any 9-12th grade high school student. The Gen and Kelly Tanabe Scholarship Program aims to help remove this obstacle by providing deserving students of all ages with scholarships that can be used to pay for college or graduate school. 250-word essay topics: Why do you deserve to win this scholarship, or Describe your academic or career goals, or Any topic of your choice.

Latino Resources College Scholarship Fund

Latino students who are pursuing college education goals at a two-year community college, vocational school, four-year university – as well as graduate students – are invited to apply for our competitive scholarship awards. This program invests in Latino students who demonstrate academic excellence, civic engagement, leadership and financial need.

 


“I Matter” Scholarship

Amount: $5,000

The VILLA “I Matter” Scholarship will provide tuition assistance to graduating seniors enrolling in an accredited undergraduate program in the fall. The recipients of this scholarship are selected based on the applicant’s demonstrated academic achievement, community service involvement, verbal communication skills, resume, and reference letter.

 

NSHSS STEM Scholarships

Award Amount: $1,000

The NSHSS Foundation provides STEM scholarships for underrepresented groups in order to help reduce financial barriers for those with academic and leadership potential and the desire to pursue STEM careers. The Hispanic Scholarship Fund College Scholarships

Award Amount:  $5,000

HSF/General college Scholarships are designed to assist students of Hispanic heritage in obtaining a college degree. Scholarships are available on a competitive basis to graduating high school seniors, community college transfer students, undergraduate students and graduate students. Applicants must be of Hispanic heritage and have a minimum of 3.0 GPA for high school students. A minimum of 2.5 GPA for college and graduate students. Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited not-for-profit, four-year university or graduate school during the fall of the scholarship cycle year. The NAVSEA Scholars Program

Award Amount; $10,000

The NAVSEA Scholarship is awarded to outstanding incoming college freshmen) i.e.graduating high school seniors) intending to pursue a degree in STEM. 1)  North American Van Lines Logistics Scholarship - $1,000 – 5 Awards (Deadline: December 15, 2018)

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must: 

a)       Be a U.S. Citizen (or permanent resident)

b)      Be enrolled (or enrolling as a full time student of an accredited college/university within the United States for completion of an undergraduate degree in Logistics or equivalent field.
