Jaime Balli M.D. is currently a teacher at Early College High school in Progreso Texas. Prior to his appointment, he served as South Texas adjunct professor where he taught medical terminology for the E.C. ( early College) dual enrollment program. He also was a director for Valley Grande Institute allied health school, where he taught and directed the various allied health programs. Before this, he practiced medicine at Hidalgo County Health care corporation as a staff physician.
Balli, has dedicated his career to help those less fortunate and provided health care assistance to the best of his ability. He was selected employee of the year for the years 1990 and 1991 at H.C.H.C.C. . He was appointed to serve on the county board of health directors to help coordinate health care clinics to rural areas of hidalgo county in 1990.
In 1994 he attained his teacher’s certificate from Pan American University and began his teaching career focusing on medical related courses at La Villa High school and Progreso High school.
His educational background includes a B.S. degree in Biology, a Masters degree in education administration, and a Medical degree. He has been very fortunate to be afforded the opportunity to practice his experience with students and fellow co workers at Progreso high school and E.C.
Balli, has been married for 39 years and has three sons, and enjoys fishing as one of many relaxing choices he practices on his spare time.
